i want to get a pair of jl audio 13w6v2's and i wanted to know if the jl audio 1000/1 mono amp would be able to run these? the woofers are rated at 500 watts rms each and the amp is rated at 1000 watts rms.
how does it work? does the amp spit 1000 watts at each sub that is connected or does it divide the power up between the both of them, giving each 500 watts?
i never really understood the way that an amp powers out it's wattage.
