the mounting depth on the mids is just a tad under 4 inchs. things are like coffee pots.

I nvr heard it. But I love it. I would like to use it. but trying to "downgrade" 8"s this time. I really don't feel like upgrading my electrical system right now.

great guy to deal with here guys... i am not so certain but i've also read that the mx handles 1600wrms. anyways i have mine hooked up to an re12.1 that i bought form valent. ME LIKEY also.

I would like to have those JL components to complete my system. What condition they in? What do you consider nice components? I have a set of Kenwood KFC-P605ie components pretty muchbrand new only thing missing is the styrofoam out of the box.
