JL cleansweep and summing device

I have an 08 envoy denali with the bose premium sound without DVD/Nav. I'm looking to keep the factory HU since I already added the IPOD adapter. I'm going to add aftermarket speakers and an amp such as a JL 300 or something? The speakers could either be a set of JL seperates up from and a set of coaxials in the rear. I could also maybe do polk DB's?? Either way how does this JL cleansweep work really well to clean up the voltage to the amp since this owould be prviding me with my preamp outputs? Also do I HAVE to do the summing device? Advice??

Lots of options when it comes to aftermarket upgrades for a stock system. Most companies have a few listed on their sites (Maxxsonics, JL, Rockford Fosgate). If I were going to spend big bucks on something of this nature, I would definitely go with the RF 3sixty.3 (or .1/.2, whichever you can find).

I think the RF is out of my price range since I still need to get the 4 channel amp and speakers. Unless the RF is in the same range as a cleansweep and summing decive total? Thanks

Lol saw JL, read "Money Pit". Yeah the rockfords are some serious cash, hence the comparison, but one popped up on the classifieds awhile back for around $250 if iirc. The .1 and .2 should be a lot cheaper than the $600 price tag on the .3 if you can find them.

Not sure about the seller's credibility, but your looking at about that price for a .1 and around $200 for the .2 used. The .2 is pretty common new but it still runs about $350-375.

I have jl audio cleen sweep and a summing device I was looking to sell. I saw u where asking about them I liked mine worked good for what I needed I lived in a bad part of town but wanted a system so I kept the fac stereo and put amps and a sub sounded great. You can use the stereo vol to control vol or the clean sweep. The clean sweep does have a aux but I see u already added that. Once I moved I ended up getting a double din dvd but the clean sweep work and sounded good. Living where I did I didn't want someone to see an aftermarket radio just more reason to steal my stuff. Anyway if your looking to put one in I would sell both units for 175 shipped my lost is your gain I'm new to the site came here for info so I don't post much but. If you like ill send u my number and we can go from there let me know thats
