Ok, recently ive recieved one of these amps for almost absolutely nothing.. And i have a question regarding its ability to be stable at 1 ohm.. i know for a fact JL says it is NOT stable at 1 ohm.. the question is.. and will probably sound so stupid..

would it be okay to wire my two dual 4 ohm subs to 1 ohm, and after impedence rise it would be relatively safe for the amp? I know it does "1200" rms, supposedly, but i have it wired up at 4 ohms now so it is doing half that.. do you think impedence rise would get it close to 2 ohms? so it can recieve that "1200" watts? or is that just a plain bad idea?
