The shop would easily charge me 1300 for the sub and over 1ooo for the amp which is a joke considering I can get the prowedge on ebay for 700 plus another 500 for the amp. I will have to have a shop install it for me considering the fact that I have no experience installing the stuff and taking parts of the car apart. i will buy the wiring kit for the amp myself. All I will be paying for is the installation which will not get too out of hand.Also, do you think the current drain of the pdx 1000 will be at least slightly less than a 1000/1 v2?
