JL 13.5 W7? Any good??

How you doing boys and girls,

I don't comment alot but i do follow all the topics and use your knowledge.

What do you think about this JL W7 1500rms for 550 AU$ in a sealed enclosure??

I've got a Rockford t1500.1 running 2 type S in 2 separate ported Alpine box at the moment (don't judge me i know they sound like ****).

do you think i will feel the difference if i buy and put this JL instead of 2 type S?? Any problems with the sealed box?

W7 are good subs.

If you do buy it, get or build a really good ported box for it. Should outpound the current subs you got now and then some, with that power.

My only suggestion is be very careful if bought used, 99% of used ones either have burnt coil, damaged surround or spider or a cracked basket. Ask lots of questions and have him label each coil and put a multimeter to each side. That's a really good deal for that so infortuently I would be Leary of it.

Also keep in mind if it is burnt up or needs fixed there are no oem parts offered, it will have to be sent to jl for $380 rebuild.

Yea screw that jl for price.. u could get two cab 12s in a ported box and be hammering hard
