JL 12W6v2 vs. IDQ15

I have the W6v2, but was wondering how the IDQ15 would stack up against it.

Both would receive power via a JL 500/1.

Sealed preferrably, possible IB with the IDQ.

i like my IDQ15's alot. and they are IB, and they sound amazing. im not sure about the SPL out of each one. the IDQ definatly has the cone area advantage, and as we all know- the less excursion the less distortion. i have a pair of idq15's and they do get pretty loud, i hope to play with them on the TL tonight and get some headrest measurements. but ive never listened to the w6, so i cant comment on its ability with personal expierence.

the idqs can play every kind of music ive thrown at them [and its been from lil' flip to ZZtop and to the brian setzer orchrista lol ]. you really cant go wrong with the IDQ for a SQ install. if you have the w6v2? i would prolly stay with it because you most likely wont hear that huge of a difference aside from which is louder.

an IB install is definatly more tricky\permanent than a plain-jane sealed box too.

you are probably right, i would love to do the IB install. Problem is i don't have the time to really get into that complicated of an install.
