K, so I have a JL 12W3 that I bought off of a friend, along with a 460w bridged @ 4 ohm Kenwood amp. The thing is, I can't find what the ohm load per VC is. I'm thinkin it's dual 2 ohms wired to be 4 ohms total, since the amp bridges @ 460w 4 ohms, but 460 rms seems like a lot for a single JL 12w3. Can I use a DMM to check the ohm load by putting the metal things into the speaker wire terminals or whatever they're called? or will I have to completley pop the thing out to see?

thanks.
