JL 1000/1v2 compared to Alpine PDX 1000

Right now I have the JL and thinking of getting the PDX 1.1000 due to size. I like how the JL sounds but its too big for my install. Has anyone had both? I just want to know if Ill get the same SQ.

Im gonna be pushing two UL12's w/ 2 PDX's.
