My stock cd player in my 01 civic is complete junk, it takes a good 5 min to load a cd, i cant fast-forward any songs it'll just skip ahead to the middle of a diff track. And when i start my car the cd doesnt load for ever so eventually itll turn on and scare the shit outta me when im driving...

So, im looking for a new one, and i came accross this Jensen VM9312 for $360 after shipping. and thought that was real cheap for an in-dash dvd player, and was curious if anyone knows anything about these, ive read\heard that the VM9311 had bad sound quality so im curious about the VM9312, im not running a system at all but and im pretty sure it will beat the hell outta the stock player in my car anyway, but i just want some more info\reviews on it so i dont end up blowing money on it

and if it is junk, and theres not another touchscreen in that price range thats good, im thinking of just getting a Pioneer DEH-P5900iB but im open to suggestions, i **** with this stuff :p

Thanks

Im thinking about getting one too. I have an amp powering my components so I dont know if I'd have a problem with powering it.

My only concern is i've heard they don't get too loud

they get plenty loud!! only complaint is that it doesnt push much bass to your door speakers... If your components are on an amp then it should be fine.. but just raw hookup from the H/u...well everything else is great except the bass

Well shit that makes me happy. Think I'm gonna buy it.

The only thing that was holding me back is that I can't remove the HU itself. Too many people will break my window for a ****in.. bottle of gatorade

you mean the bass on the door speakers right... not from the subwoofer preout...? or whatever...? and does anyone know what V the preout is for this HU...

yes i mean the door speakers... I dont even have my sub setup installed.. so Im sittin on litttle bass.. I have tweaked it to get a little bass but nothing im happy with.. I also have the parkbrake override code if you need it...

naw i'm straight, i found that on google //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif... it is a lot easier than wiring up a lot of shit and so far i like it... i think the picture is awesome.... i wish there was a visualization or something when music is playing.... and btw YGPM

So if you have a cd playing what exactly does it look like? Is it an ugly interface? I've never seen one in person but I saw one. From the pictures ive seen the ipod interface looks pretty cheesy.

go to the nearest circuit city near you... they got it... and if you don't got a circuit city... well i guess you're screwed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but the interface isn't bad at all....
