IVA-D310 compatibility with other brains

Hello everyone,

I had a couple questions that I was hoping you could help me out with. I currently have an alpine IVA-C800 but the screen no longer works. I was wondering: If I were to buy an IVA-D310, would I be able to just swap out the headunit and use all the same cables and brain? Or maybe use all the same cables but just swap the head unit and brain. I'm trying trying to make it as simple an install as possible without having to rewire everything. I'd greatly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

Hey there nufo,

Unfortunately, it is not possible. The only thing for you to do is replace the complete unit or the screen itself which costs about the same as a new unit.
