ipods are great, bottom line. if you know how to really use itunes and keep things organized, it makes the whole thing even better.

The ipod is a dominant product in the market- there is no player easier to use 3-clicks from any song, multiple ways to search, and aftermarket support- do you see any head unit manufacturers making iriver/creative/cowan controllers? Nope, because they are inferior fringe products- not the market leading ipod. SQ? That has more to do with what is played than the player- if you are serious about sq- you listen to an audio cd- compressed music can't touch them.

Like i said advertisement....Headunit manufacturers arent going to spend time and money on something that people dont buy as often. Like i said in the other post if ipod wasnt advertised as much it wouldnt be as big as it is and thus would be less support like the other players. I bet on anything that my cowon will last longer than your so precious ipod, ive heard so many stories of ipods screwing up and customer service being shit compared to other companies. Go ahead and search on the cowon, and post how many hardware problems there has been, and then do Ipod, then talk about inferior. I even bet Apple puts more money into Ad's vs R&D and customer service....

here is a concept, if there are 50 ipods sold for every 1 cowan (likely below the appx. ratio) there are sure to be more issues with the ipod. I am not saying the cowan is bad product I am just saying the ipod is popular for more reasons than advertising and to say anything else is intellectually dishonest. I have never had issue with apple's tech support, and to say apple spends more on ads than r&d is rediculous- given how many of thier products are revolutionary in thier segments. Just because you are another apple-hating microsoft monger doesn't make you right.

Ok where do i start.... First of all, how can you call me a apple hating microsoft monger? I support apples computers/products, i just dont like that peoples only option is the Ipod just cause that is the Industry standard. Since you brought up microsoft we can bring them into an analogy. Microsoft is the industry standard right now, not linux or os 10. So just because microsoft is the standard does that mean microsoft is the best? NO! Matter of fact microsoft has the most problems out of most other OS's, but do people still run them? YES!, why you ask? Because people have become dependant on it and are too lazy to research what else is out there and learn how to use different products. Windows is the most user friendly GUI out of all OS's out to date right now, thats why people use it. Just cause Ipod is user friendly and you can get to a song in 3 clicks doesnt mean it is the best out there.

I personally don't care for windows, but because of the software I run it is basically the easiest option- I also avoid a lot of issues w/ windows as my win-box never sees the internet, I use a virus proof mac for that. The very fact that other option exist means the ipod isn't the only option, and may not be the best option for everyone, but for most it is the best product of it's kind on the market. You sounded like an Apple hater, and I am glad to hear you aren't

I use windows cause im one of those lazy people that dont wanna learn new stuff lol plus the lack of software support for linux/mac. Even though mac software support is growing rapidly. I guess its all upto the user preference in the end. Anways nice debate lol always like to debate about stuff with a knoledgeable person.

If two artist names look identical it's because there is a space after the name. Happens to me all the time.
