Alright, I went to my local shop tonight and have narrowed it down to two amps. Planet Audio VX6005 and Kicker KX700.5. From what I can tell the PA has better specs and a 5 year vs. 2 year warranty. I plan on two channels going to a set of Type X Comps, 2 to some rear fill, probably just the factory 6x9's for now, and the sub going to a Shiva in a ported box. Would the PA be the better choice? Before anyone suggests bi-amping the comps please keep in mind it's not my car and the person I'm getting it for needs the rear fill for passengers.
