There used to be a 7 pointer that lived out by my grandparent's house. I may have to grab my Papa's 30 06 and sit out there one morning and shoot me a deer. whats deer meat taste like. well whats its closest taste? cause i'm sure you can't be like 'tastes like chicken'

To be honest...its like a cross between beef and chicken. Its got that lean meat taste of chicken but it has the general flavor of beef. Its really good for you.

**** i cant beleive how many people havent had deer meat, i bow and shotgun hunt.... shotty is in 3 weeks here.... well make about 250 lbs of deer sausage a year, and roughly 30 lbs of deer jerky.... then we save all the ribs and have a big *** roast, usually around 5-6 deer worth, great drunk fest..... ill send a select few of you a peice of deer jerkey after its made... bout a month or 2.... ull just crave more, im addicted to it when its around

I don't have a license, so no hunting for me. I'll qualified to hunt (hunter's safety course and firearm experience) but don't.
