The chemical reaction causes a gas that when inhaled can kill you, its VERY toxic, also you can basically melt off your skin if any of the mixture gets on you, sending you to the hospital. It uses HCL, and it does give off those fumes. But you have to inhale A LOT of it to do that. Otherwise it's just breath taking.

You start out with HCl and then add Al which causes a chemical reaction that gives you AlCl and Hydrogen gas...
