man i drive a semi for a living and every thing we do and buy is deductible and i still dont have that much in itemized deductibles

And after you hit $102K in a year you are supposed to stop paying SS. My employer did not cut it off, so i overpaid.

If anybody here goes to college, be aware of the Hope lifetime learning credit, which is 2000 dollar CREDIT towards taxes for the first two years you are in school! which means you are for sure gonna get back the first 2 grand of taxes you paid. And then all of the other deductions you qualify for! If students need some tax help, let me know, and i'll help for free.
