It will be loud, but will it sound good?

i didnt read all the responses but sounds like a very bad idea... there would be so many imbalances, cancelations.. timing.. ect.. it would be loud... but SQ > loud by far.. and you can have SQ while still getting pretty loud as long as you got proper tuning and setup..

plus do you really wanna be one of these fegs that think they're cool by how loud their radio is that sounds like complete garbage?

Just put 2 12" eV mids and you'll loud as hell, it wont be nice inside the car, but once you open and hear it from outside it will sound really nice.

A lot of people do this kind of installation here, i just dont like it, cause it's supossed to be "YOUR MUSIC, YOUR SYSTEM" no everybody music.

ya will be real loud, my friend had something similar but more speakers in his h2. he has eminence & seleniums, they get so loud you think your ears are bleeding but the sq isnt very good. still the loudest thing and people a mile away will be able to hear it. i say do it

8 mids and 4 tweets IMO..... man you must not care about your hearing when you get older! lol
Back in the mid 80's everyone ran tons of speakers and at least 4 woofers. But I feel that my current system is my over all best sounding, hard hitting, loud, SQ system. And I have 2 mids, 2 tweets, and 2 subs......
Thats a good setup you have.

Quality more than quanity & the right equipment.

Back in the day, This guy had one set sony mobile es aluminum speakers and he had an amp on each speacker. I swear I have never heard anything that was that loud, crispy, and clear since. Talk about loud quality sound, I didn't know speakers had the capability to play or sound like that until then. The base from those speakers were amazing as well.

I am a fan of going with just one set of components in the front with a good amp and those will fill the whole car with sound, loud, clear quality sound. I know that I would not even be able to take another set of speakers I have now being in the car.

I agree with the ev's, they sound pretty clean. or go with 10'' mids if possible. I used to have 3 kappa pro 10'' mids and a selenium horn fiberglassed in each door and it balanced well. Before I went away for school my twelve 10's were able to drowned out everyone i played and still stayed clear. You dont need that many, i was a little younger and was bent on being the loudest. Have recently come to the realization i will never be close unless i win lotto or powerball so i downgraded. But a few tens on a quality amp will sound good man.

It's going to sound like crap and you will be damaging your hearing in a rather unpleasant way.
