[QUOTE="Krumy, post: 8846119, member: 689021"] I apologize, I will try to explain more in depth on my process. I zero'd everything on the radio and both my amps. I then turned the radio up to about 35 because that is normally where I set my radio around. I then turned up my 4 channel amp sensitivity until I got a sound I was pleased with. I then moved to my sub, because at this point I could not even hear it. I slowly turned up my level adjustment until it was maxed out and it was still weak. I then turned it all the way back down and moved my bass boost to +6db. It only has 3 settings, 0,6,12. I then turned my level knob(on the sub, not a separate level knob) until I got a better sound out of my sub. This was almost all the way up on the level knob, I would say around 90-95 percent. I then moved to my HU to adjust further. I turned the speaker level on the sub up to +7 and left the speakers as they are because I am happy with their sound. At this point, the sub sounds okay but is definitely not as sensitive or clear as it was with my 5v sony HU. Also as a note, my sub is rated to 300w rms and my amp only puts out 200w rms at 4ohm (certified by sonic electronix to be closer to 270w rms). So I am not particularly worried about blowing the sub from too much power from the amp. Overheating the amp, I would be more concerned about, but it has always run cool for the last couple of years.
