So I went through doing it by hand, first trying to get power and finally got all the power cables hooked up, now I'm trying to get the speaker wires hooked up (he's not amping anything but his sub), and I can't seem to find any pair of wires coming from the 'factory harness' that go to any speaker. Is it possible that none of the wires going to the original HU go to the original speakers?
