Alright I'm a noob to HT still and never did a lot of research like I do for caraudio, but this deal just came up and don't really have time to research all this stuff. (dial up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif)

So I was wondering if this would be a good trade:

Pioneer VSXD 608 receiver

Edit: Pioneer DVD 3 DISK CHANGER DV-C302D

Cerwin-Vega E-76C 6.5-Inch 2-Way Center Channel Speaker

rear polk diploe bipole (model number Ls f/x or Ls/fx)

and cables and wires.

He wants to trade this for my car audio

12" Icon (Paid $265)

JBL GTO1201.1 (Paid $284)

4 edhqs8s

I know it doesn't matter that much what I paid for my stuff, but what I can get for it. So would this be a good trade?

All I would need is a sub and 2 front speakers?

No. That receiver came out in 1999, far before the main surround formats were popular and affordable. Even if it is, I would steer clear. You could probably pick that up for 50 bucks on ebay. Again, the center is even discontinued so I wouldn't count on it being worth much; i.e. ebay that as well.

Now, seeing as you don't seem to be an audio fanatic, I'll tell you to pass on the polk rear speakers as well. They're vintage speakers for all intents and purposes, but that probably doesn't mean anything to you. I couldn't care less about a DVD changer these days since they give them away in stores, and cabling means nothing to me as well.

Keep your stuff. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I concur with this statement.
