Is this worth keeping???

True, but those xenons really blow the socks off those memphis coaxes. Nothing against memphis at all though great company, but those memphis coaxes sound really bright, and the tweeter was often harsh. I know this, because i was a previous owner of some. The midbass of the xenons are incredible. Huge step up in quality.

first off i LOOVEE memphis,,,,i support memphis till the death....

but ya any reputable brands compnents that take 150wrm will sound 20 times better than low rms cheap coaxils (unless its moral or dynoaudio or focal or rainbow, then the quialty is around the same) but yes anywho....get urself a nice set up compnents and amp them , you'll never look back, i bought my first pair of nicer higher power handleing 6.5 compnents and they are better than any cheap lower class speaker i have ever heard.....

very nice, absolutly UNBEATABLE for the money, if u go to the car audio shoppe web site and order directly from them the shipping is less, i gto mine for like 130 shipped..... i put 150w of memphis power on them and they SING

so.....

harsh just means loud, bright means crisp.....

in that case you could remedy "harsh" with an eq, and "bright" sounds good to me....

arent they supposed to be crisp? I would think crisp and detailed would be most important in tweeters, no?
