i rode in a stock sebring today and messed with the radio. fading all the way to the front just doesnt cut, not doesfadingto the back. the rears in the dash give out the bass while the fronts control highs. stock frontspeakers are basicly the same as compnentsets only you can move the tweeter. im taking all the bass out of my car and just using a decent soundstage for now. in the sebring, when it set in the middle the music sounded and felt more "full" than my components and 6" midbass in the rear. but i noticed without the lowness (not bassor midbass) the fronts sound like hell which is leving me to deterimine 2 things: One: Get the Re compset my shop juststarted selling to give the frontstage more "umf" instead of just intense highs. I will finally be deadening my front foors on monday but i really dont seeit making any difference in the fronts low end response. should i just get a 4channel ampand move my kicker 6's in the factory door location properly sealed, and put the eclipse mids in a kick pod? im fonsused. mystereo has WAYYY to many highs. asbad as I hate to say it, alot ofstock stereos sound better than mine (soundstage only, nosub). anysuggestions go get more :full: sound out of the fronts? shouldI switch to a midbass comp set rather than a midrange, and maybe add some2.5-3.00" to givethe frontsa little more highs while the midbass drivers do their job?
BTW... Do midBASS (not midrange) give out music/vocals?or are they geared morevtowrsds givingt the listner nicemidbsssouput
