Yes.
Anyone that has spent any length of amount of time on crutches quickly learns that the rests at the top of the crutches DO NOT belong up in the arm pit.

Ever tried to balance on 2 crutches with no legs? Impossible.

Not impossible. I used to be able to walk on two crutches with no legs for about 10-15 seconds. Requires some ridiculous forearm strength.
