ok i have an mj-18 and im trying to put it in a 2001 grand am, and i have measured the max dimensions and i can get 4.5 cubes ported(wich is recomended) but its like 2 iinches too deep.....the max dimensions are 25 in. wide....30 in. deep....and 16 inches tall. i might be able to squeeze another inch in hight but 17 would be pushing it, here is the calculator im using..... http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp?Ew=25&Eh=15&Dia=11&Xmax=12&Vd=.45&NumW=1&Vb=4.5&Fb=35&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0

Take your back seat out and slide a bigger box into your trunk . You might have to trim some metal around the backseat . A box 36in. wide x 25in. deep x 13 in. high will fit and give you enough air space for port and bracing .
