I dont know about all that...but think about this :

Revenge killing is exactly what the USA did when 9/11 happened...we invaded two countries and killed countless thousands for 3000+ people who lost their lives.

I dont see what this guy did to be much different.

We've historically done that every time we've gone to war (except for vietnam, we just made a mess and left). Japan is a good example, we nuked the shit out of them and spent billions to setup their new infrastructure. And look what ya got now - "Made in Japan". I agree, good point. I think he should receive disciplinary action, and maybe a little jail time. Hopefully the jury cuts the guy a break. I would imagine 90% of people would do the exact same thing. I bet the guy doesnt regret killing the guy at all, if anything I bet he wishes he would've made him suffer more.
