is this dangerous???

is it possible to run a 4 channel kicker 650 kx amp at different ohms? meaning to have a pair of 6.5'' on two channels running at 4 ohms and then run two small subs at 2 ohm on the other two channels to get more power? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

or would i have to run both the mids and the subs at 4 ohms? i was thinking of two small 10'' rockfords or something like that...any ideas?

(by doing this i am trying to aviod buying another amp)

It should be ok. not gonna be much wattage to the woofers. wgat amp is it?

kicker 650.4 kx

she does 125 rms x 4 at 4 ohms

not sure how much at 2 ohm but it should be more

just want to know if this will hurt the amp

No you will not hurt the amplifier running it at different ohm loads.

does any1 know how much power i will get?

if i get 125 rms at 4 ohm on the mids and i put two 2 ohm subs on there how much power will i be getting?

need to know to look for subs

I looked up the specs on this amp:

@ 14.4v

120x4 @ 4 ohms

170x4 @ 2 ohms

325x2 @ 4 ohms

Looks like you should run two of the channels for your comps and bridge the rear @ 4 ohms for 325wrms.

You'll need to find two DVC 4 ohm subs or two SVC 2 ohm subs to hook up to this amp.
