for street setups, the SX is generally louder. MT is better in a wall. The MT's are fine for daily driving, don't listen to all those people that tell you it isn't.

So....SX for strictly street and MT if you want to compete some. Don't the MTs need 2.5k watts? What if one only has about 1.8k on tap?(per sub)

I'm sure you could compete and street with either one.

I too was thinking about either an SX or MT.

Only reason i'd choose the SX over the MT is if i didn't have the extra 200$ to spare, but i'm leaning more toward MT, more potential.

A solid 1800rms per sub in a properly sized box is good.
