Is satellite radio = cd/apple lossless?

i don't think so b/c it still has to be compressed to send signal over the air

Sat radio is compressed. Nowhere near cd quality. I think it sounds terrible when reproduced on an accurate system.

Dish network broadcasting Sirius over their tv sat is different, they have the bandwidth to be high resolution. That is near cd quality. But it isn't portable.

ya this i have xm the quality aint the greatest about the same as fm perhaps a little worse
