Is my gas meter on crack?

Well it usually happens when im on 3/4 tank of gas, and the needle will bounce back and forth then stop where is should be and keep bouncing around like it is on crack. Anyone know why it does this?

Yes its a chevy astro 95. And it only does it on 3/4 tank. When its full it dont bounce. When it is on a half or lower, it dont bounce. When the van is off it dont bounce. I dont have a subwoofer in yet, so audio is not the problem.

CHEVY chevy chevy. My gf had the same problem with her 95 Tahoe.

I had a friend with a silverado that had a float problem, I would check that first

I dont believe it is the float, all my gm's have had similiar issues at one point in time. I replaced a whole gas tank in my old T/A and I had the same issue. Sitting still at a light and the needle would start dancing.

I have a 97 pickup and the gauge is bouncy like that too. Mine goes down when I smash the brakes and up when I stomp the gas too.

Your speedo is also on crack ever notice how it runs away from 0 when you push the gas pedal down? I personally think your passenger seat is a drug dealer but that is just a hunch. They all need the twelve steps, praise jesus amen.

Wow I always thought the glove box been giving it to it. But when I removed it I still had this problem. Ill keep my eye on that sneaky *** passenger seat.
