Is my friend screwed?

My friend was screwing in his sub and put a cut is is foam surround and so he used super glue on it... all that did was make it an actual hole and harder a little bit. Is there anyway he could fix this or say bye bye to it?

i would say use rubbery caulk but iono, silicon should just about do it.

silicon works good, put it on one of my old subs, and recently on a buddys, worked fine. need something can be flexible

the hole is about a dime size so just coverit with silicon and let it set?

over time it will eventually let go...silicon or Air Flux 400 will work, temporary, but over time it will let loose.

Send it in for repairs or buy a repair kit if there is one available for the woofer. Not that diff to redo a woofer surround. Lots of home speaker makers sell them.

to the guy who siad if it was a "friend" yes. I'm not making it up. my subs have been installed for a while. No need to mess with them. This was a friend from school like everyother kid who thinks they know eveything and then came to me wondering if i knew a way to fix it. But i've never done surounds. I've jsut fixed a guys cone before.
