Is Legacy Any Good?

I'm looking at bying an amp, I need at lest 200 w rms going into each sub, Since i have 2 12" subs, i 'm gonna need like a 400 -500 watt amp, is legacy, or sound stream, or even power acoustik a decent brand out? i need something with decent wattage but cheap!

no it wont but be careful with your gains, legacy is twice as bad to your woofers as overpowering them.

I'm sorry i'm new to the whole car audio scene, what do u mean gains and how would i go about hooking something like that up, without blowing my subs, are there any other good subs around 150.00 to 200.00 thanks

Gains are adjustments on the amps. It is simple to hook a sub to an amp. JL subs are great for that price range and so are Adire subs.

2. Rockford Fosgate 500a2: $230

3. JL 500/1: $300-$350 (this amp will power higher rms subs with ease)
