is it worth to go with alternative for sound dampening?

I found stinger 36 sq foot bulk pack on amazon for like 100 dollars, and a road kill package for 2 doors for like 65 dollars at amazon it's that what u mean??, probably to cover at least the two door and the trunk area plus some of the floor and trunk door will this be enough ??

definitely go with the stinger 36 pack, its better quality then dynamat(thin and weak in comparison). Also you need to know that you do not have to cover every square inch. This does not block out sound. The job of CLD products like these is to just make stuff vibrate less. You can actually just use strips and cover the large flat areas that are wobbly, no need to cover hard solid areas or areas where the metal has bends or bracing. Using 100% coverage is just a waste of money, material and adds on a lot of weight. Basically diminishing returns.

If you want to kill roadnoise you'd have to get Mass loaded vinyl for your floor and wheel wells.

Read trumpets 9 step guide he posted and go to sounddeadenershowdown.com to read up on sound deadening your car.
