Is it worth it?

I have a 12W7 in a sealed box right now powered by my BEtter Audio 1600M1 amp which gives it around 750W @ 3ohms. Guy has a PG Tantrum 1200.1 that he's willing to sell to me for $300 on a local pickup and I was wondering if it's worth it. It would probably give the W7 around 1400W @ 3ohms, and then I'd build a ported box from the e-mail I got from JL. Not really looking to spend a lot of money anymore since I'm mostly set for my system, but I don't know if I should give the W7 some more power, and see if there is any noticable difference.

Also, I really don't want to get rid of my BEtter Audio amp since it's such a nice amp, but if the Tantrum is around the same build quality as the BEtter Audio, then I might have to sacrafice selling it
