i have two 12" diamond d3.2 subs which are dual 4ohm subs. my uncle has two 12" PA mofos. which are better subs? he is wanting to trade. should i? and would the mofos be louder than the d3's?

yes but not sq will not be as good as the diamonds those mofo lean toward spl a little hope this helps but let others buzz in on this

just a little curious if i was to run the mofos i would get a higher db number than the diamonds running off of a nitro 1200 2 channel amp? this setup would be in a 96 olds cutlass suprem sl. the diamonds are in a kicker vr box with the over sized port in the side. not sure what that box is tuned to. but when i ran the d3's last time i ran 133.00 which i think was not good at all for two 12's running on 1200 watts.

I doubt that nitro is putting out 1200 watts or anywhere near it. get some real power and the mofos will be much louder in the proper enclosure. The diamonds will sound much better though.

the nitro is ok. im going to use it for my highs. i did have a dpx1800 clarion and it sounded way better then that nitro. lol what would be a good amp for the mofos if i decide to trade em.? and what would be a real good amp for the diamonds if i decide to keep them?? i really dont want to spend a whole lot on a amp. any advice would help alot..
