Is Cerwin Vega crazy or is this for real?

Cerwin Vegas website posts that its 15" stroker is supposed to be put in a 2.0ft3 ported enclosure.... heres the website:

the plans also say the port should be 1.2" x 13" x 19" if you change the mm to inches. This port would have extreme port noise wouldn't it? And I have never heard of a 2ft3 enclosure for a 15" subwoofer. Could someone shed some light on this?

I often ask myself why people question the recommended enclosure requirements/recommendations by the mfgr.

If they say it'll work, then try it out. Or call them. Email them.

Often the recommended is for "average" use. If your looking for something specific, then I'd call the tech dept.

space makes bass.regardless of the sub.it will probaly get loud but not really low.
