Is Behringer complete crap?

so its a decent budget amp then? is there anywhere that i can find like used qsc or something like that for the same price? also will a 20 amp circuit brealer work alright?

i need an amp that will power my se in my room. around 600 per channel at 4 ohm or 1200 at 2 ohm bridged. i was looking at the behringer europower ep2500. is this amp any good? http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-EuroPower-EP2500-Power-Amp?sku=480697
if anyone has any suggestions as to a better amp for around 300 let me know. also if there is anywhere to find good deals on used amps like this let me know as well.

i will be finding out soon:D

I'd rather have a QSC, and run the SE's in stereo...but something tells me you don't really care where your room modes are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

so the rmx 1450 would be better then? what do you mean by room modes?

I think the QSC is better, yes.

Room modes, in very few words, is basically how your room impacts how low frequency waves travel. Having stereo subs, or subs placed in the corners, can help stabilize the in-room response and make things less muddy or non-linear.

i had 50 watts going to a single 12" kenwood sub in my room, and that got loud....

i wonder what 2000+ watts would sound like. U probably going to be very surprised when shit all around your house starts falling down and shaking.

if u put it in the corner opposite of where u sit...OMG its 100X louder:eek:... No lie my roommate had a little 5.25" computer sub dat u could barely hear at all, but when we moved into his closet and faced it toward the back wall, it soud like there was a 10" back there.

Try it just put the box in a corner and see if you hear a difference.
