yes..its actually labeled 49x97 here instead of 4x8..

i have yet to come across a sheet that isnt 48x96..... i dont know where you guys are getting 49x97 sheets.....

What are crosscuts?

in other words, they are accounting for the wasted material actual cutting takes out (kerf of the average sawblade is 1/16th of an inch IIRC)
