a BLOW through JOB isn't as hard as you think it is. Don't worry about the cuting part or your vehicle, when you get down and do it, it should be pretty much straight foward.

I had one for a while with 2 Ported 15's. It was a sound quality box, but when cranked up it would hit really hard. I loved it and think it was totally worth it. Check a RV place if your going to do it for the boot to go through. I ended up paying about 90 bucks for 12 feet of it. I didn't use it all though. Make sure you take your time and don't rush the project or you will regret it.

I did this on my Dodge dakota quad cab. Im totaly happy with the results. I f I ever sale my truck I can have some sheet metal welded back in place. The gasket is called acordian boot.

Cut that b!tch up. Don't play around with small crawl-through holes either, cut it big, leave about 3/4 of an inch for the accordian boot to clamp over, good thing is to inject silicon into the accordian boot before installation also. After cutting your hole, with rounded corners btw, start installing the boot by starting at the middle of the boot, at the top of the cutout and work in both directions. This will leave the cleanest, non-wrinkled look. It's also much better when you go to cut the slack in a straight line. As for the box in a Ranger. I've wedged 15's in them, and done 10's, the best one came out as a 13 cubic footer w/ 3) 12's. 2) 115 square inch vents, one between each woofer. Pretty impressive system.

As stated before, keep your stock steel cutout panels for future use. You can tack them right back in and mig weld them in place. I've had the sh!tty fortune of returning 2 crawlthroughs back to stock....for good money ofcoarse! Pissed off parents that didn't approve of the systems from the get go and when it came time to sell the trucks...back to stock they went. Cut it and build that box, you'll see just how much it's worth when you turn the heads of long-dead relatives.

This thread is making me want to buy an old small truck, like the old mazdas or nissans lol. Why do you tempt me CA.com..WHY!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
