How big is its box? If it's not in 4-5 cubes you are not getting the most out of it.
Square sub has more cone area but cone area needs airspace.
The 18 was very desirable in its time. Not so much anymore.
Put a 12 X up against big dog 15s in the exact same space and the 15 is going to win.
