Message: <blockquote data-quote="kungfoojesus" data-source="post: 521002" data-attributes="member: 552373"><p>A better option for $40 is the belkin charger/aux input.  It utilizes the firewire port on the bottom of the ipod instead of the 1/8 mini jack on the top.  Basically for $40 you get a more powerful amp than is currently in the ipod which emits a much cleaner sound at higher volumes.  If your aux input is sensitive enough, you may be able to get away with the mini jack on top with no audible difference between the two.</p></blockquote><p></p>
