ipod trouble

I have a 3rd gen ipod, i got it back in august it's one of the refurbished/one year warranty ones from ebay. It was fine for a long time then all of a sudden like a month ago it starts freezing up, maybe for like 10 minutes then later its fine. Now it will do it for hours at a time. Usually what happens is the scroll wheel wont work at all and all the other buttons work but you have to press them a few times to do so. This is unbelievably annoying, has anyone else had this happen?

no this has not happened with my ipod, what u could do is return it since you have warranty and get a new one it easily replaces the problem

Honestly I have no idea. Contact apple tech support and ask them. Have you loaded the newest software on it? You can go here and do so... http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ipodupdater20051117.html That may solve the problem.

yeah I reset the ipod and completely updated the software and it still does it
