Ipod Touch in "recovery mode"....need some help quick

So I was updating my ipod, when all of the sudden my computer just froze for some reason. Thing is I could see the little update bar or whatever it is on my screen keep moving, like it was still updating even though the computer was frozen. Well I let it finish it's business then restarted the computer

Now it's in "recovery mode" and wants me to restore it. Well I don't back up my music so whats up how can I get around this?

I would really really reallllly hate to erase all my music so any help is appreciated. I tried that "Music rescue" program but for whatever reason it couldn't see my ipod

hold down the menu and center button for like 15secs and manually restart it. if it goes back into recovery mode then you are pretty screwed.

This happened to me to. I let it fully die and charge it back up again and it was fixed
