Ipod for my new HU...

I am looking for an Ipod I can just leave in my car for music. Only thing I need from it is ability to store at least a few thousand songs and plug into the regular Ipod charging/docking station plug...

I dont care about new old generation or look (as long as I can see the screen to make selections lol). Everything must work properly as well...
