i have a panasonic cq-c9900b which is ipod ready, but i want to know what i can use to hook it up. i want to be able to control the ipod from my hu remote through the hu. the only thing i can find is an icelink which is $200!!! could i buy a cable from radioshack?

If it is Ipod ready like you say it is, there is a special cable you're gonna need to buy. Its a panasonic cadc300u. I know the new panasonics are ipod ready, but I don't know if your specific model is. I'd check on Panasonics web site, but if it is thats the cable your gonna need. If that doesn't work, you probably have an aux in the back of your stereo . You'll need the red white audio to mini. The red and white go into the aux, and the mini goes into your Ipods headphones. That method will not display the info on your HU. Hope I was helpful. Look into the Panasonic cable.
