well was turning into left into the parking lot to go to work today and a lady who was leaving my work was turning left out of the parking lot and she ran right into me. Damage was worse than i expected considering the speed we were going.

The old lady that hit me was in a new grand prix and me in my 93 Ranger. Something happened to my system during the wreck that i havent had time to look for yet but i was gorunded to the frame right where she hit me so i think it might pulled it loose or something.

Im kind of worried that insurance will want to total it out being that its 17 yrs old.

if you cant beat that bed out, buy a new one $250-400, try to beat the cab out if you can, if you cant, get a dent puller, drill small hole, and pull that ****er out then bondo er up. Im never paying for body work, that shit is not hard. I got a check for $1500 for a scratched bumper. Man that summer was badass!

aw dude i can fix that, you shoulda seen my truck when i got it from salvage. Let them total it out, get the check, and buy it back for cheapz
Just curious, if insurance totals YOUR car, why do you have to buy YOUR CAR back from them? I guess I never understood that...

By paying you the value of the car, it belongs to them. They will sell it to a salvage yard. If you choose to, you can make an offer to buy it back at a reduced price. It will have a salvage title and you will have to have it inspected by the state to prove its roadworthyness.

So your car gets damaged, and as a result, the value of the vehicle drops. They then pay you the new, lower value of the car?

So basically, if you don't plan on fixing the car yourself after your car is totalled you get shafted out of a boatload of money? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
