internet wireless connection issue

well i just watched a movie on my laptop and now i cant connect to my router wirelessly. my other computers and my 360 are connected to the router, fine. anyone know what the problem could be. and also before i watched the movie everything was good. and another thing is that, its saying my router isnt in range when it is.

unplug ur router, rub your feet on the ground to conduct some electricity, touch the router then hook it back up. that should restart your router and be in working order.

i pretty much got the same problem.. wierd. does your laptop even try to pick up the wireless internet? cuz mine doesnt at all. it justs stays disconnected.

have you tried restarting? You would be surprised at the amount of things that will fix in electronics.

exactly...power down the router and laptop...restart the router, wait for it to boot..then turn the laptop back on...happens to me every couple weeks or so.

well my whole network ended up losing internet. so i change my router back to the default settings and now im 'good to go'.
