internet brand, 1200rms at 2 ohms?

hey guys,

i'm sorta in the market for a new amp, looking to buy a quality amp, possibly from a smaller company just so to be nice and support a company that may not be well known yet but has good stuff...

one problem is that i need 1000 to 1500rms but it has to be at 2 ohms, any ideas?

looking to spend under $500

i've looked at diamond, us amps, and a few others, i noticed that many of them make their peak power at 1 ohms, i would really like it to be at 2 ohms instead...

I know kicker has some good ones that i'm interested in but options never hurt...any ideas?

kicker is great for 2 ohm loads.

im pretty sure mosy of autotek amps are 2 ohm loads.....correct me if im wrong anyone

well, the mean machines are 1 ohm's, didn't check up on the others...

looks like the internet brand idea is going to kick the door...thanks for the replies, and i'll look into that GTO amp...

I've read numerous posts about both being overrated. Can anyone confirm this, as I have no direct experience with either brand.

you mean OVERrated???

if so then thats what i hear as well...

i wonder if anyone has ever benched one of those MA's and see how much overrated it really is...i'm sure they vary from line up to line up but just a thought

Buy my PG 1200.1 for $300 shipped. 1200wrms at any load from 1-4ohms and 80% efficient to boot.

there are quite a few others as well

clif designs cd-360.2 makes 1200x1 at 2 ohms and is well within your price range
