in my lexus, which has the gas tank between the trunk and back seat, i odn't really get as much bass as i'd like. so for a test, i just stuck the box int eh back seat and listened to it; and it's not any louder!

i would have thought that the fuel tank was blocking a lot of the sound but i guess not... why is this? shouldn't it be louder in the back seat? not that i'm going to drive around like that, but just out of curiosity.

Which way were the subs aimed? Could be causing cancellation issues...

in the trunk they are aimed backwards, in the cabin they were aimed forwards...

try aiming the same way... ie backwards vs backwards...

for my last system, which way they were pointing (up forward or backward) made a pretty big difference for me
