i sent them this email last night:
hi. i am running a set of your RSD65CS comp set, but i am running them active with a Pioneer 880PRS HU and some amps with very good results so far. i don't see the FS of the tweeters published anywhere and was wondering if you'd give out that information as that kind of helps when setting a crossover point for the tweeters. i heard that i can take the FS and double it as the crossover point at a 12db slope. i have tried them at 3.15k/24db and at 4k/24db and both seem to sound fine but was just curious if you'd give out the spec on them. thanks, Jason.
just got this as a reply:
Jason,
Try 1200 to 1500 kHz for your active XO.

now, when i first read it i was thinking they meant 1200hz or 1500hz but they say 1200 to 1500 Khz. khz not hz
i emailed them back asking what they meant and if that was a typo.
12k or 15k seems crazy high, even if they meant 1.2k or 1.5k that seems a bit low.
is there even much material above 15k for the tweet to play, do they really expect the mid to play up to 12 or 15k?
i'm lost.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
