Integra+good electrical+Hifonics 1208D, Which 15'' under $250???/

I am looking to jump up to a 15 from my RE SE 12. I have 1000-1100rms from my BXI1208D to send it at 1ohm and I am willing to drop $250 for the price of the sub and shipping.

I was thinking the SSD 15 with copper coils. Price is right in the ballpark but I am all ears for any other suggestions.

Someone also tipped me off to the Ascendant Audio Chaos 15'' but I cant find a place online to order them.

I dont think that AA sells online though. That is what Fi is for. You could also look for a used aq hdc3. You could probably find one of those in your range.

i say if the Fi.SSD is what you have in mind get it. there is always other stuff out there and it'll just make you want to get more power, bigger and badder subs, etc... i say a lot will also depend on space for an enclosure. not sure if you want 1 or 2 subs but I think that since you already have and RE SE12(D4?) that you should just get another one and be done.

I have the 15" SSD w/ copper coils off a nine.2x at 4 ohms and I love it. Needs more power though!!!!

I am selling my SE with my box to a friend for $150 so I'd rather move onto another setup, not an extra SE.

I just want one 15". The HDC3 15" is only $250 shipped brand new. Seems like a amazing sub for the price but it looks like a power *****. Would my 1208d be up to the task? AQ says 1000rms but it looks severely underrated.

I am so undecided at this point.

SSD seems to be what you want, fi makes great subs

i would do flatwind coil just to be safe or BP power

if you have room ported will be louder
